WHAT IS BRITLOFEX? BritLofex is the brand name for lofexidine hydrochloride. It belongs to a group of medicines called alpha2 adrenergic agonists. BritLofex comes in a peach coloured tablet containing 0.2mg lofexidine. BritLofex tablets are taken to relieve the symptoms you get when you stop taking an opiate, eg heroin, dihydrocodeine, methadone or buprenorphine.
